Why the app is usually missing

This is not an operator failing. Apple and Google require real money gambling publishers to demonstrate a valid licence for each country where the app is distributed, and in several markets they do not permit the category at all.

For a platform holding a foreign licence and active across many markets, that threshold is hard to clear. The result is what you observe: either no app, or an app in a handful of countries only, or a package downloadable directly from the operator's site.

What an Android package actually costs

Installing a package downloaded from a website rather than from the store requires allowing installation from unknown sources.

This needs stating precisely, because it is the point at which many pages on the subject write that the process is "100% safe", and it is not. Android applies that control by default for a reason: packages bypassing the store bypass any automated review, and nothing guarantees the file you downloaded is what it claims to be.

The exposure is not limited to the package you wanted. Once the control is removed it applies to anything from that source, and people who disable it "just this once" frequently leave it disabled.

Anyone deciding to proceed has two precautions that genuinely reduce the risk without eliminating it: download only from the operator's official domain, never from third party sites redistributing the same file, and switch the setting back on immediately after installing.

It requests no permissions, occupies no meaningful storage, updates itself, and requires touching no security setting at all.

For a casino the performance cost is minimal, because the games run inside a web engine or as a stream regardless: there is very little an installed package does better. On iPhone and iPad, where a package outside the store cannot be installed at all, it is the only available route and it is also perfectly sufficient.

What does not change either way

Account, document verification, active bonuses and limits are attached to the account, not to the device. Moving between the site and an app changes none of them, does not restart a verification, and does not activate different offers.
